Author Topic: Nice lake, shore fishing and camping

Looking for somewhere new to camp and fish with the wife for the weekend, off shore fishing would be a plus. No farther than 2 hours from Van. what do you think boys??

check out the lakes in the squamish whistler region. small trout but lots of fun.

Alice Lake is good from shore but even better if you can get a boat or something like that. If you do get into the lake use a leach or if you don't like flys use a croc.(green)

Callaghan lake.5km N of Brandywine Falls.16km gravel road to lake.Great shore fishing with waders would be prime. The first part of the road is like a Hwy.The second part their is water bars, clearence would be good.Someone said that people were fixing the bars I don't know first hand.It is one of most beautiful places to camp and fish I have ever seen, and I live in Whistler.Have a good time.
