Topic: Spots around The Shushwap Area? |

Is there any good spots out there. We will be fishing on shore, no boats or anything. Looking for some good stream/slough/small river trout type fishing. We will have a boat for shushwap, exclusively, so I will try the lake but I think it's catch and release only.
Thanks for any imput.

check the regs for shuswap lk. i believe if you buy a tag you can keep one fish. i think there is a tag for lk trout and another for rainbow.
shuswap river above enderby might be ok for trout but it is catch and release. salmon open july 25th (springs) on the shuswap. there are lots of small lakes in the area but can't recommend any for fishing from shore. you'll just have to do some exploring to find one with a good shoreline
