last season i caught lots of salmons ,of course i kept a large amount of the salmon roes.but i found that fresh salmon roes can not be hooked exactly on the hook,who can tell me how to cook them into salty roes able to be tied on the hook?

Just cure the roe, a quick search on google is all it takes.

you can go on youtube and see videos on curing salting roe.

or you can read ethicalbonkers post I bumped up where Bently gives some directions. he did another thread that was even simpler. i'll try and find it too.
to get the roe to stay on the hook better you might try tying roe bags and using a bait loop, details above.

I agree w/ using roe bags. Local bait shops sell them for ~$1/ea. and they last for a while.

A buck per roe bag? Thats nuts.Your local shop is a rip.Just buy a tub of water hardened eggs( if you don't wanna cure your own),some spider wire and some mesh.15-20 bucks will give you enough for a good 15-20 days out.
