Picture of the first Steel of the year for me. Landed one other and broke off another while landing. Unable to get pictures; was by myself. 1st fish I was fortunate enough to have two other guys fishing the same run and took the pic. Same guys landed 6 other fish and bonked one hatchery fish each. Both 15lbs+. Great Day, cold but great day nonetheless!

Wow you a lucky guy Hawg, where abouts did you get him?
Sergio

Yes, buddy, very nice fish! How about the place?
Louis Vuitton

Yeah, nice fish! I can't wait to go out myself. Never got one before. Im goin to try this winter though. I want to fly for them, or drift, it doesnt matter, but preferably the fly. What did you use to get them, and where abouts (river, run, etc.).

Thanks alot

Got this fish in the lower left jaw LOL... actually had to find new water, regular spot I usually fish is no longer there! River has changed significantly. You need to get out and find new waters. Not always an easy task but well worth the adventure. All three of my fish were caught with gear set up on roe sacks of varying sizes and colours. The other two fellows fishing had caught there's on goey bobs, deli shrimp and roe sacks.
Louis Vuitton, was going to buy new fly set up this year for the river but it is challenging enough with gear!! Next year I will give it a go though. If you are new to Steelhead fishing, with gear can be very humbling, so going after them on the fly Best of Luck!
