I want to head out this saturday to maybe look for osme rainbows or cutties. Is it to late in the season?? Are there any good lakes near abbotsford/Chilliwack that would be worth checking out. I would like to test out my new float tube! I was thinking Foley? or Lindeman? Andone know some place better help me out!!

Don't bother with Folley as far as Lindeman goes as long as ice hasn't started to form and the day is warm you may coax a few to take your fly.I would prob. try a lower elevation lake than Lindeman maybe Purple lake off harrison west forest service road, althought it is pretty cold up there as well,I have caught a few late season Cutts out of Devils Lake off Florence lake fsr use'n small bead head copper wire wrapped wolley buggers trolled on type 2 sinking line.Cheers

Foley lake is the garbage dump of the last 20 years of drunk'en environment abuse'n shrubs from chilliwack/mission/abby is what I ment and its slow at the best of times anyway.
You are ask'n a question that has no GOOD answer to becouse late fall fishing on the coast is not like it's interior cuz'n. The slowly progressively colder temps down here just lul the trout into torpor (dormancy) where as up country rapid temp drop gets the trout mov'n for the last good feeds of the year.I have put my tube away for the year and the only fish'n I am do'n right know is troll'n Alouette try'n for a monster laker. This time of year sucks if ya don't river fish,Good luck.
