Author Topic: Help with where to launch a boat.

I want to go and fish the mouth of the sumas/vedder river and was wondering where to launch my boat. I live in coquitlam so would I launch on the North side of the fraser or south side and where?

Thanks in advance people.
Hi Speed

how big is your boat

14 foot aluminum. I have my 2 kids though. Maybr going to a lake instead.
Hi Speed

probable a good idea if you have the kids with you try putting it in with a buddy first

Launch at Dewdney .Only a couple miles from there

Where is dewdney

If I go with my kids to alouette instead do you think there is decent fishing there this time of year

Dewdney is at the mouth of the Nicomen slough east of mission.Bundle the kids up as most of the fishing is in the shade.
Can't speak of Allouette lake. I've never fished it this time of year
