Nice camera! Question: am I eligible to participate in the contest if I post my report now but fishing was in September? Many thanks.
|
Alex
|
Thanks for asking. Unfortunatelly, no.
For the purpose of this Contest only October reports will be eligible for participation.
After all, there is more value in recent reports, though we welcome old reports and transfer of your dated fishing journals into online format. This way those records can get a new life

In order to submit a report, go to the Trip Planner first, select the fishing spot and follow "Submit New Report" link. It might be a little difficult at the beginning, but gets Ok, once you got used to it.
Keep in mind, that you only can submit fishing reports for fishing places that are described on the site (at least a map of the lake/river is required, since you actually point to a particular spot that you've been fishing on the map). Then you select attractors (flies, lures, bait, etc.) and answer several simple questions. Resulting report is quite comprehensive and useful for both other anglers and as a reminder for yourselfv for future trips.
In order to view all reports, you have to be a Priveleged Member (they are allowed to vote for reports), but as an author you will have unlimited access to your own reports (you can even share direct links to them with your friends and they don't have to be even registered to view those).
Good luck!
