Hey bug pumper it seems that we just can't get it right in terms of weather! Either to hot and not enough water or too much water. I was going to head out on Saturday, unfortunately the river blew out and I was stcuk at home twidling my thumb. Anyway, hopefully the rain this week will be reasonable and allow me to get out this weekend. Tight lines!

Geez, it's pouring out now! It can stop anytime, we've had enough now. Usually Sept is great weather- sheesh.

May as well take apart the callcutta 251 and clean it and regrease the drag. Then hook it up to the St Croix. Change to 12lb mainline, tie hooks and 6lb leader, take inventory of Drennens, splitshot....blah,blah,blah

Bp, I love to use light leaders and small offerings. However, if you have not been to the Vedder you'll be in for a bit of a surprise, it is high, dirty and moving. Save the 7.00 and use foam flights and unless you want to donate Gammies at 35 cents a piece the six pound leaders that we like to use are not going to hold those big coho that come to our lines. Anyway, I will see you out there, take care.

Ya, I've been keeping track of the reports steely. We'll just have to see what we get for the weekend. I'll have some 10lb on the leader board.

When the water is high and dirty why take the chance? I have to pick up a lot of damn cans before I can afford to use those fancy, dancy floats on a consistent basis.:-
