Topic: Cohos Stacked Up In English Bay? |
Kai the Guy
IM going out on my friend's boat Wednesday, we hear the Coho are thick in English Bay. He was alone off Kits/Jerico last week, and his fish finder was showing TONS of fish down there. All he managed to catch {using a big flasher trailing an anchovie @ 60') was a small Atlantic salmon - no pic, and he threw it back! Gotta train this guy. Damn, I need the practice too! He said it was amazing how an 8" fish managed to down a 4" anchovy bait, proof how aggressive predators these fish can be. Salmon are awesome.
Any tips out there?
